KARACHI (Web Desk) – An anti-terrorism court in Karachi on Friday sent Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) member Amir Khan on judicial remand till June 25 in a case pertaining to giving refuge to criminals at Nine-Zero and adjacent localities, Dunya News reported.

The MQM leader was brought to court amid tight security.

During case hearing, the investigation officer sought extension in Khan’s remand. The court accepted his plea and sent the accused on judicial remand till June 25.

The court has ordered police to produce him the next day after expiry of his remand and present a complete challan against the accused.

The jail authorities have also been directed been directed to keep Amir Khan in B Class prison.
