LAHORE (Dunya News) – National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has submitted NA-122 forensic report today (Saturday) in Election tribunal, Dunya News reported.

According to details, the final report was presented before the tribunal after verification of thumbprints on the votes cast in NA-122.

NADRA authorities had sought time from Election tribunal’s judge Kazim Malik till May 9 for the completion of the report.

The petition against rigging in NA-122 was filed by Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N’s) Sardar Ayaz Sadiq gained victory from the constituency.

Earlier, Election Tribunal directed NADRA to submit the forensic report of NA-122 on May 9 and adjourned the hearing for one day.

The hearing was conducted in Lahore High Court (LHC) in which Ayaz Sadiq’s lawyer told the tribunal that NADRA is not presenting its report due to the pressure of PTI Chief whereas Khan is also trying to make the report controversial.

The lawyer also stated that the report has been completed many days ago therefore; it should be submitted in the tribunal.

The court after hearing the arguments directed NADRA to submit the report on May 9 under any circumstances.
