LAHORE (Dunya News) – Scientists on Saturday has said that the height of Himalayas has decreased after the deadly quake earlier that jolted the country.
According to the American Geological Survey experts, the height ahead of the boundaries of the geological plates has decreased by at least 1.5 metres in the north of Nepal capital, Kathmandu. However, this change would soon recover and come back to normal.
The authorities said that they could not say whether the height of the tallest mountain on Earth has also gone through a change.
