Summary Ayyan Ali was arrested by customs officials after $508,000 were recovered from her possession.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Banking court of Rawalpindi on Friday has extended judicial remand of Ayyan Ali in money laundering case till May 18 by ordering the customs officers to submit final challan in next hearing, Dunya News reported.
As per details, Justice Sabir Sultan heard the case during which supermodel Ayyan Ali presented before the court. The accuser’s lawyer Sardar Ishaq told the court that custom officials have still not prepared final challan and urged the court to release Ayyan Ali on interim bail.
The investigation officer after the break presented necessary and important documents before the court on which Justice Sabir Sultan, as per article 173, directed the counsel to unveil the evidences in next hearing whereas the apex court has also issued non-bailable warrants of as many as two suspected property dealers.
Subsequently, the court adjourned the hearing of the case.
Ayyan Ali was arrested by customs officials on March 14 from Benazir Bhutto International Airport Islamabad after $508,000 were recovered from her possession.
