ISLAMABAD (Daily Dunya) – Former Secretary Election Commission Kanwar Dilshad on Thursday termed the printing process of ballot papers under the supervision of government’s officials legal and stated that it is the only way to overcome rigging during election.
He said there is no place of monitoring election process on private basis in the codes of ECP and that the Judicial Commission should probe rigging in 2013 election honestly.
He stated that the printing process was completed on May 7, 2013 however, the ballot papers were handed over to the presiding and returning officers on May 10, 2013.
He further urged the authorities to transfer the probe process to the military intelligence agencies so that a clear and factual investigation would be presented in front of every one.
