Summary 18 police mobiles are outside Mirza House, police opened fire despite order of court: Fahmida Mirza
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Former Speaker National Assembly Dr. Fahmida Mirza said on Tuesday that whole Sindh’s police have been deployed on Mirza Farm House in Badin, she was addressing a press conference in Karachi. She demanded Chief Justice of Pakistan to take notice of the situation. She said that it seems like some operation is underway in Mirza Farm House.
Fahmida Mirza said that 18 police mobiles are still outside Mirza House and police opened fire despite the order of court. She demanded Inspector General (IG) Sindh to answer that why the police was deployed outside Mirza House despite court s order. She said that she is worried about the security of Zulfiqar Mirza.
“Sindh police is clearly political, those police officers should be sent to Badin who do not have political tilts”, said Fahmida Mirza.
Fahmida Mirza said that she joined Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in hard times when PPP was not in power. She said that people of Badin are their strength and raids against them are not justified. She said that Zulfiqar Mirza has every right to go to court if there is a case against him but officials are not even letting the food or water enter Mirza Farm House.
