KARACHI (Dunya News) – An investigation team reached Karachi on Thursday to investigate the murder of Professor Wahidur Rehman who was shot in Federal-B area of Karachi. The team has recorded the statements from teachers of Mass Communication department of the university , reported Dunya News.
The team consisted of Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Investigation Central Zone Arib Mehar, Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP) Azizabad Aijazuddin, Station Housing Officer (SHO) Yousuf Plaza Akram Arain and investigation officer Niaz Qureshi.
The investigation team gathered information about any hostility the victim might have faced within the department, with any group or organization.
Talking about the murder case, SSP Investigation Central Zone Arib Mehar said that tangible progress would be made soon.
The investigation team showed the students and teachers a sketch of the alleged killer and summoned the records of all CCTV camera footage in area of Jamia Karachi.
