Summary Despite fall of oil prices in global market government has decided not to decrease oil prices

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Finance Minister (FM) Ishaq Dar said on Thursday that the summary for price reduction sent by Oil and Gas Regulation Authority (OGRA) has been rejected, reported Dunya News.

Despite fall of oil prices in global market, government has decided not to decrease oil prices for the month of May.

Prior to session of Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) FM Ishaq Dar said that price of petroleum products will not be reduced in the month of May.

It should be mentioned here that the summary sent to Ministry of Petroleum had suggested a decrease of 1 rupee in petrol per litre while suggesting a drop of 1 rupee 26 paisas in high speed diesel, 9 rupees 43 paisas in high speed octane, 2 rupees 11 paisas in kerosene oil and 1 ruppes 38 paisas in light diesel per litre.
