ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Islamabad High Court (IHC) has summoned reply from Interior secretary and establishment in ten days on the petition filed against the disciplinary proceedings against former head of federal police Aftab Cheema and Senior Superintendant Police (SSP) Muhammad Ali Nekukara, Dunya News reported on Thursday.
According to details, the petition was filed by Iftikhar Rasheed and four former Inspector Generals’ (IG).
The hearing was headed by Justice Athar Manullah in which the plaintiff’s counsel Babar Sattar adopted the stance that the morale of police force was deterred due to the action taken against honest officials of Islamabad police.
The court after hearing the arguments issued notices and summoned reply from Interior secretary and establishment in ten days.
