Summary Zahra Shahid was killed after MQM chief delivered a provocative speech
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday has submitted his reply to Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) compensation claim of Rs 5 billion in the Sindh High Court (SHC).
The SHC held hearing of the case filed by MQM’s Dr Farooq Sattar against PTI chairman.
The reply submitted states that MQM filed the case on basis of personal hostility towards Khan. The reply demands the court to reject the plea. Zahra Shahid was one of the founding members of PTI who had opposed MQM for wrongdoings.
She was killed after MQM chief delivered a provocative speech, the reply states.
The Rangers arrested several criminals from Nine-Zero during the search and siege operation. Hussain and other MQM members are involved in serious crimes. The reply states that Khan’s statement was his personal comment as every politician reserves the right to have an opinion about everything.
However, the court postponed the hearing until another day.
