Summary Builders are accused of being involved in facilitating target killers with arms, vehicles and money
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Court gave three builders from Karachi including Babar Chughtai into the rangers’ custody for 90 days on Tuesday while Ubaid K2 and Nadir shah, who were arrested from Nine-Zero were sent to jail.
Chairman of ‘Abaad’ Babar Chughtai, Ahmed Mujeeb Ullah and Faisal Masroor are accused of being involved in facilitating target killer by providing them arms, vehicles and financial help.
Accused were presented in front of court in high level security hand cuffed and blind folded. Babar Chughtai did not hire any lawyer for hearing, while the court let the accused Ahmed Mujeeb Ullah’s meet his wife and daughter on the request of his lawyer Javed Chitauri.
Ubaid K2 and Nadir Shah who were involved in target killing of police officers were sent to jail on the judicial remand. A case of killing Sub Inspector Nisar and Sub Inspector Rehan in Soldier Bazaar was filed in 2000. Anti Terrorism court Ubaid K2 was also sent on judicial remand in the murder case of Deputy Superintendent of Karachi Central jail Amanullah Niazi. Amanullah Niazi was murdered in June 2006.
Both of the accused will be presented in front of court on 23rd of April.
