RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – An award ceremony was held in honour of martyrs of operation Zarb-e-Azb on Tuesday. Army Chief General Raheel Sharif distributed the awards, reported Dunya News.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), decorations were awarded to the martyred personnel who fell during the ongoing operation Zarb-e-Azb in a ceremony held in Rawalpindi.

30 officers and soldiers were awarded Tamgha-e-Basalat, 30 officers were awarded Tamgha-e-Imtiaz while 1 soldier was awarded the UN medal.
Families of the martyred received the awards on the behalf of fallen soldiers.
