LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Monday has said that the Khadim-e-Punjab Daihi Roads Programme would prove to be a milestone for the progress and prosperity of the rural areas.
He expressed these views while addressing assembly members belonging to different districts.
The CM said that he would personally monitor and review the project. He said that the project would be completed like many projects before with transparency and speed. CM Shahbaz also said that the people showing progress in this project would be encouraged.
He said that in the first phase 2,000 kilometre (Km) long roads would be constructed costing the government at least Rs 15 billion. He further said that the widths of the roads have been increased to at least 12 feet.
