Summary Justice Bajwa would hold hearing of the case, says Justice Anwarul Haq
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Justice Anwarul Haq of the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday has postponed the hearing of the petition challenging Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi’s detention for an indefinite period.
The counsel for the petitioner said that the court had earlier ordered the Home Secretary to decide about Lakhvi’s detention in as many as five days but nothing has been down in this regard so far. He urged the court to start contempt of court proceedings.
Justice Anwarul Haq said that Justice Mehmood Maqbool Bajwa would continue hearing of the case as he was holding hearing of the case earlier. He returned the file to the LHC Chief Justice (CJ).
