LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore High court’s Justice Shahid Jamil ordered to regulate the rules of fees and charges applied by private educational institutes. Secretary schools education said that a bill to regulate the school fees of private sector schools will be presented in Punjab Assembly’s next session.

Applicant Muhammad Naeem’s Lawyer Sheraz Zaka told the court that private schools have become business centres and citizens are being looted by them on the name of education.

There is no maximum fees limit in Punjab Private Institution Regulation, which is against constitution’s article 25-A. He said that there is no law which could stop private institutes from raising fees and charging heavy amounts in name of different dues.
