Summary 58 autonomous institutions have been appointed their heads out of a total of 78, says Salman Aslam

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan on Monday has ordered submission of report regarding appointment of heads of autonomous institutions within one week.

A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice (CJ) Nasirul Mulk held hearing of the case. Attorney General Salman Aslam Butt said that at least 58 autonomous institutions have been appointed their heads out of a total of as many as 78. He said that three institutions have been dissolved while cases of two are ongoing in the high court.

Butt said that the summaries for appointments of as many as two more institutions have been sent to Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif.
