LAHORE (Web Desk) – Four people including two children lost their lives and two others sustained injuries when a speeding truck hit a car near Tahirabad area on Monday, Dunya News reported.
The injured were shifted to District Headquarters (DHQ) hospital in Chiniot.
According to police, the incident occurred due to over-speeding while driver of the truck has escaped from the scene.
Pakistan has an appalling record of fatal traffic accidents due to poor roads, badly maintained vehicles and reckless driving. Crashes killing dozens of people are not uncommon.
