KARACHI (Dunya News) - Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain has said that law and constitution has been mocked by raiding the offices and residences of MQM, Dunya News reported on Friday.
While giving an interview to a private channel, he stated that according to Supreme Court (SC) every party has armed wings but no such operation has been done against any other party besides MQM.
MQM Chief said that he tried to talk to the prime minister and the interior minister earlier, but they couldn’t be contacted.
He said that Chaudhry Nisar promised to make a monitoring committee to probe the operation against MQM however the committee has not been formed yet.
While talking about MQM’s joining in Sindh government, he said that negotiations with Qaim Ali Shah regarding this matter will only be a formality whereas no agreement will be made until a written assurance by Asif Ali Zardari is submitted to his party.
