Summary Preparations for local body elections are underway with full vigour in Mirpur, Azad Kashmir
MIRPUR (Dunya News) -- Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), in a display of power, organized a mass gathering in Mirpur on Thursday. Former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani said on the event that only PPP possesses the solution to problem of Kashmir.
Preparations for local body elections are underway with full vigour in Mirpur, Azad Kashmir.
PPP’s workers were delighted at the prospect of a mass gathering in their town.
Addressing the crowd at Mirpur, former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani said that the current gathering is a proof of PPP’s vote bank.
The former Prime Minister said that the history of Kashmir and PPP is aligned and the problem of Kashmir should be addressed according to the resolutions of United Nations.
Speaking at the event, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf criticized Imran Khan and barrister Sultan Mehmood adding that Imran Khan is recruiting turncoats in his parties whereas there is no place in PPP for such people.
Raja Pervaiz said that Imran Khan has not mentioned Kashmir in his speech during his rally.
Talking to the crowd, Raja Pervaiz said that PPP will help take all of Kashmir.
The rally was attended by several PPP stalwarts such as Chaudary Abdul Majeed and deputy speaker Sindh Assembly Shehla Raza.
