Summary Qaim Ali Shah defended the move of placing barriers in front of Bilalwal House
KARACHI (Dunya News) -- Chief Minster (CM) Sindh Qaim Ali Shah has stated on Thursaday that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) is not a terrorist party where as the removal of Governor Sindh by the Prime Minister (PM) is also not on the cards, Dunya News reported.
Speaking to the media at Chief Minister house, Qaim Ali Shah defended the move of placing barriers in front of Bilalwal House, saying that precaution has been taken to protect the residence from terrorists.
Qaim Ali Shah said on the occasion that due to government’s efforts, there has been a reduction in incidents of target killing, extortions and robberies.
The CM said that Bilawal House is the residence of a former president who is facing threats from the terrorists, hence the need for barriers.
CM Qaim Ali Shah complained to PM Nawaz Sharif on the non-payment 10 billion rupees which were to be granted for counter-terrorism to Sindh government.
He reiterated his belief on ending terrorism saying that he would not rest until it has been completely wiped out.
