LAHORE (Dunya News) – Traffic flow was badly affected due to the protests being held at different places in Lahore today (Thursday), Dunya News reported.

According to details, long queue of vehicles were present in various areas of the metropolis due to the ongoing demonstrations’ making it gruesome for the citizens to move around the city.

Blocking road for traffic during any protest is becoming quite a norm in Pakistan which results in great troubles for the citizens.

Such a situation was witnessed today in Lahore where Kissan Ittehad Council demonstrated against farmers’ arrest on Multan road whereas clerks, dengue lady workers and blind people on the other hand staged protest to advocate their rights outside the Chief Minister’s (CM) House and disturbed the traffic stream on Davis road, Canal road and adjoining routes.

A large number of farmers also blocked the Multan road, the main entry point to the city, resulting in a long queue of vehicles.

Protesters usually have an understanding that unless they do not cause discomfort their voice will not reach to the ears of higher authorities.
