ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) -- Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) said on Tuedsay that local body elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be held on 30th May and the tentative schedule has been made by the ECP, Dunya News reported.

The candidates can file their nomination papers from 13 to 17 April while the scrutiny of their papers will be done from 20 to 25 April.

The objections raised by the ECP during can be appealed from 26 to 28 April.

The ECP will address matters related to appeals from 29 April to 4 May.

The candidates who will decide not to contest the elections can get their nomination papers back till 5 April whilst the list of contenders contesting the local body elections will be displayed on 6 May.

The process of polling will occur on 30th May while the election results will be displayed on 10th June.

It is prudent to mention here that the successful candidates will be issued success notifications when they file their campaign expenditures to the ECP.
