LAHORE (Dunya News) – At least three people died while five others sustained injuries as roof collapsed in Gawalmandi in Lahore today (Tuesday), Dunya News reported.
As per details, roof caved in when construction process of a two-storey house was underway, entrapping as many as eight people including two children under rubble.
On getting the information of the incident, teams rescued at least five people alive under the rubble however, Ikram and his two daughters Noor Fatima and Dua Fatima lost their lives.
District Coordination Officer (DCO) among other higher officials declared inappropriate way of construction as a cause of the incident.
Moreover, police have registered an initial report of the tragedy and have also initiated search operation to nab the house owner.
