KASUR (Dunya News) – Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Shahbaz Sharif went Kasur today (Sunday) to meet the family of Hafiz Naeem who was lynched by the mob after the Youhanabad incident, Dunya News reported.
Security was tightened up on the arrival of CM Punjab.
According to details, CM met with the victims’ relatives and assured them of justice whereas he also prayed for the departed soul.
CM Punjab stated that those who burn people alive do not deserve any mercy.
He said that the case of Hafiz Naeem will be tried in Anti Terrorism Court (ATC).
Moreover, he stated that several people involved in vandalism and violence in the Youhanabad incident have been arrested and will be brought to justice.
While talking to CM, the deceased brother said that Naeem was innocent and should be given justice whereas
the victim’s mother was of the view that grief and sorrow has prevailed in her life after the brutal murder of her young son.
