KARACHI (Dunya News) – Rangers and Paredi police during search operation in various areas of Karachi arrested at least 26 suspects of target killing, extortions and gang war today (Sunday), Dunya News reported.
According to details, Rangers officials conducted raid in the areas of Jamshaid quarters, Lyari, Bahar Colony, Liaquatabad, Peer Abad, Northern by-pass and Shah Faisal and detained at least 22 suspects.
Moreover, Rangers also confiscated jihadi literature and explosive material from the possession of the suspects.
Meanwhile Paredi police arrested as many as four suspects of target killing and extortion.
According to SP Sadar, the suspects identified as Shehzad, Farooq, Abdul Hameed and Shakeel belonged to a political party.
The suspects were supplied arms to make a strike successful whereas they are also involved in the murder of political opponents.
