LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Revered religious scholar, and Jamia Naeemia head, Mufti Raghib Naeemi on Thursday has said that the act of lynching people in Youhanabad was an offensive and unlawful act. He said that burning people to death was the worst form of terrorism, Dunya News reported.
Addressing a news conference on the occasion of 62nd annual ceremony at Jamia Naeemia, Lahore, Mufti Raghib Naeemi called for the arrest of the elements involved in Youhanabad tragedy and those who facilitated them. “Terrorists and their facilitators must be punished”, he said.
Mufti Naeemi said that the government should not ban the religious seminaries. “The process of registering the seminaries should be restarted and issues should be resolved with mutual consent”, he added.
