Summary CM Punjab once again shifted all the blame of Yohannabad incident on police: Pervaiz Elahi
LAHORE (Dunya News) – “Yohannabad incident is a failure of Chief Minister (CM) of Punjab Shehbaz Sharif”, said senior leader of PMLQ Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi while addressing a press conference at Muslim League house Lahore on Thursday.
Pervaiz Elahi said that the nation is united against terrorism but instead of government, army is taking care of law and order and also fighting terrorists in Wazirastan, while government is not performing its duties. He said that CM Punjab once again shifted all the blame of Yohannabad incident on police.
Talking about the problems of farmers, he said that farmers producing cotton and rice are not able to reduce the cost of production and government needs to make policies to help them. He said that country is soon going to witness a severe shortage of wheat.
Pervaiz Elahi said that Last year government bought less than 1 million ton wheat and even now government’s warehouses contain that wheat and there is no more room to store more wheat.
