Summary Law-enforcing agencies have been allowed to hold meetings with Saulat Mirza
QUETTA: (Dunya News) – After the postponement of his execution, Saulat Mirza has on Thursday been shifted from the cell to the barracks again while the law-enforcing agencie have been allowed to meet him in the Machh Jail, reported Dunya News.
According to Superintendant Machh Jail Israr Naeem, officials will be allowed to ask any question that they would like to. He said that there will be no time-limit for the inquiry. The convict has been shifted from the cell and he will be allowed to get the written statement recorded.
The statement given in presence of the magistrate will be considered legal and would be presentable before the court of law. Family of Saulat Mirza will be allowed to meet him one more time after the postponement of his execution.
It is pertinent to mention here that Saulat Mirza was to be hanged early on Thursday morning for the murder of three people including an MD of KESC but his execution was postponed for seventy two hours after his confessional statement surfaced on Wednesday night.
