Summary General Raheel Sharif addressed the troops of 10 Infantry Division at the centenary of World War I
LAHORE (Dunya News) – According to Director General (DG) Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa, Army Chief adressed the troops of 10 Infantry Divison in Lahore.
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Monday has said that the operational preparations are to maintain peace not to wage a war. He urged the international community to take necessary steps to solve issues.
General Raheel Sharif addressed the troops of 10 Infantry Division at the centennial anniversary of World War I. Speaking to the troops about World War I, he highlighted the need for a sound defence strategy in today’s world.
Army Chief further added that the outbreak of First World War was caused by difference on core issues. He implored to the international community to work out their differences on such issues and take steps to remedy the situation.
