KARACHI (Dunya News) - Fire, which was erupted in an income tax building opposite to Sindh Secretariat, has turned important documents into ashes, Dunya News reported on Monday.
Earlier, fire broke out in a canteen located on eighth floor at 8:40 am. The fire intensified and damaged ground floor and fourth floor.
Administration has revealed that numerous important documents and records have been destroyed whereas Chief Commissioner has refused to inspect the affected area.
According to fire brigade sources, no human loss has been reported so far.
Moreover, members of income tax department have assured to initiate investigation of the incident.
