ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – International Women’s Day is being observed worldwide including Pakistan today (Sunday) to pay a tribute to the women, Dunya News reported.
On this occasion, President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif in their messages vowed to protect women s rights and provide them with equal opportunities to move in every field of life.
PM Nawaz stated that the government is determined to protect the women from being discriminated. He further urged the UN agencies, civil society organizations and the media to assist the country in this regard.
To mark the event, Dunya News has called on brave women of Pakistan Army to laud their efforts and zeal.
