Summary Earthquake shocks of magnitude 5.8 were also felt last night (February 26) in Islamabad, Rawalpindi
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Magnitude 4.2 jolts on Friday were felt in various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) including Swat.
The origin of the earthquake was Hindukush Mountains while its depth was at least 136 kilometers (Kms) below the ground.
People were seen reciting kalima as they left their houses in fear.
It should be noted here that ealier, magnitude 5.6 earthquake was felt in Swat, Mingora and nearby areas.
Magnitude 5.8 shocks were also felt last night (February 26) in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and upper parts of KP. The origin of the earthquake was south of Islamabad, 92 kilometers away.
