Summary MQM has the legal right to take the matter to the court against the report by the JIT
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Opposition leader in the National Assembly Khurshid Shah on Monday has said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has not informed about its amalgamation with the Sindh government. He urged MQM to dissociate the party from the criminals behind the Baldia Town incident.
He expressed these views while talking to the media in the Parliament House.
He said that until the government was caught amidst crisis, all parliamentarians including Prime Minister (PM) used to attend assembly sessions but now government does not seem serious.
He said that MQM has the legal right to take the matter to the court against the report by the Joint Investigation Team (JIT). Shah also said that neither the PM nor the Interior Minister paid a visit to Shikarpur after the heinous terror attack there. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) also did not console the dejected hearts in Shikarpur, he added. He said that he is unaware whether MQM shook hands with the Sindh government or not however, he had heard Rehman Malik’s statement regarding the matter.
