Summary At least six people were killed in target killing incidents in different parts of Karachi.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Target killing continues in Karachi as six more people were gunned down in different parts of the city on night between Sunday and Monday.
According to details, some unidentified persons opened fire at a vehicle near Nipa Chourangi in Gulshan Iqbal area and killed two people. The deceased were identified as Sohail and Talaat.
Police sources said that Sohail was Deputy Director in NHA while Talaat was Director in Land Department of City Government.
Earlier, some miscreants riding on motorcycle shot dead two police officials near Noor-ul-Iman mosque in Nazimabad area. Both cops were going home after completing their duty at the Noor-ul-Iman mosque. Police have recovered five empty cartridges from the crime scene.
On the other hand, some unidentified gunmen shot dead a man at Mai Kulachi Road while police have also recovered a dead body from stream in Lasbela area.
Meanwhile, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain has condemned rising incidents of target killing in the city and asked PM Nawaz Sharif to take notice of the recent target killing in Karachi.
