Summary Briefing the media about JUI-F version, Fazl said 21st amendment will promote terrorism
SUKKUR: (Dunya News) – Jamiat Ulema Islam – Fazl (JUI-F) leader Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman has said that 21st amendment will promote terrorism because it can be used with discrimination, reported Dunya News.
Briefing the media about JUI-F version about 21st amendment after 2-day meeting of general workers in Sukkur on Sunday, Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman said that all the parties who were part of the former Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) stood with JUI-F’s stance on 21st amendment.
Fazl said that a seminar will be conducted in Lahore on 22nd of January and parties belonging to all the schools of thought will be invited to join this seminar. He said that JUI-F’s stance on 21st amendment has made other parties, who were voting in its favor, also understand the gist of this amendment.
“We hope that the government will listen to us because our stance carries weight and new amendments can be made to correct the old amendments”, said Fazl. He said that he respected Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain and Altaf should also show respect. “If we started to answer every allegation, it will have no end to it”, he added. Fazl said that giving an impression at this point of time that nation stood divided would not help the cause.
