LAHORE (Dunya News) – Election tribunal on Wednesday ordered the inquiry commission to submit the report of vote re-count and reexamination of the record of NA-122 by January 12.
Local commission told election tribunal that rechecking and recount of the votes has been done but they need time to compile the report.
During the hearing, Ayaz Sadiq’s lawyer alleged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan of pressurizing the tribunal through press conference that might affect the findings of local commission.
Chairman PTI’s lawyer responded that Imran Khan was talking nothing but facts adding that the decision is to be made by the tribunal.
Tribunal’s judge said the decision would be made in the light of the report that is to be submitted by January 12.
