Summary Quaid's 138th birthday is being observed across the country
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The nation is paying homage to its founding father Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on his 138th birthday, Dunya News reported.
Even though Pakistanis are still grieving over Peshawar massacre in which as many as 142 people including 133 children lost their lives, they are expressing determination to renew pledge with Quaid to work day and night for the progress of the country.
Quaid-e-Azam, literally ‘the great leader’, heroically fought for the right to self determination for Muslims of the subcontinent. His leadership, advocacy and faith led to the creation of what was deemed impossible at the time, Pakistan.
