Summary PAT says PTI had invited it to participate in the protest march
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) on Sunday announced not to participate in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest and strike in Faisalabad scheduled to take place on Monday, Dunya News reported.
According to a formal statement issued by PAT’s Central Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, it was stated that PTI had invited PAT to participate in the strike protest but PAT has decided, after consultation, not to participate in the planned protest strike.
PTI had earlier announced it had support from PAT, Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q) and Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC).
