Summary Sit-ins staged by a few thousands cannot end assemblies and governments, says QWP leader
MANSEHRA: (Dunya News) – Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) leader Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao has said that Pakistan is nobody’s personal estate to be shut down at will. He said that sit-ins held by a few thousand people cannot force the governments and assemblies to end, Dunya News reported.
Addressing the workers convention in Mansehra on Sunday, Aftab Sherpao said that those making hue and cry about rigging were not able to present even a single evidence of rigging before the tribunal and court. “Mass rigging was not conducted in any part of the country. If there are proofs of rigging anywhere, judicial commission must be formed for probing it but Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan will never agree for it because he has no proofs of rigging”, he said.
Sherpao said that Imran Khan was unable to see the rigging for one year and now deceiving the people through sit-ins and protests in the name of rigging.
