Summary Matters regarding regional security were discussed in the meeting
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Sunday met Chinese delegate and discussed the war on terror and regional security situation. The Chinese delegate praised Pakistan’s efforts in war against terror and regional peace, Dunya News reported.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), China’s State Councilor and Minister for Public Security met the Army Chief at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi.
Matters regarding regional security were discussed in the meeting. The Chinese delegate was briefed on the regional security situation as well.
The Chinese delegate praised Pakistan’s efforts and sacrifices in war against terrorism and also congratulated the Pakistan Army over success in Operation Zarb-e-Azb.
