Summary 50 workers of Minhaj-ul-Quran accused by Prosecutor General Punjab, in Model Town incident
LAHORE (Dunya News) -- The investigation regarding the case of torture on policemen during Model Town incident was completed on Wednesday. The Prosecutor General of Punjab Ehtasham Qadir submitted the 8 pages investigation report to the Anti Terrorism Court of Lahore.
According to the report, as many as 50 Minhaj-ul-Quran workers are accused of attacking the police with arms, leaving many of the policemen injured. At least eight workers of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) including General Secretary Khurram Nawaz Gandapur are declared proclaimed offenders by the anti-terrorism court.
