Summary 'Fake sit-ins' cannot spark a revolution in the country, he said.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon on Wednesday said that democracy faces threat from sit-in leaders just like Pakistan faced threat from Taliban, Dunya News reported.
Talking to the media in Karachi, Memon said that revolution cannot come through ‘fake’ sit-ins.
He said Pakistan earlier faced threat from Taliban and now, he claimed, democracy faces threat from sit-in protest leaders.
Memon alleged that the agenda of both the Taliban and sit-in leaders is same. He said Taliban are ‘proper Taliban’ whereas, he said, sit-in leaders are ‘modern Taliban’.
‘Fake sit-ins’ cannot spark a revolution in the country, he said.
