ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chairman Privatization Commission Muhammad Zubair on Tuesday alleged that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Jehangir Tareen became billionaire during former president Pervez Musharraf regime, Dunya News reported.
Addressing a media conference along with Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rasheed, Zubair claimed that Tareen had nothing in the nineties. He alleged that 82% of PTI lawmakers don’t pay taxes.
He alleged that Tareen got his loans written off in the past and that Tareen is now availing contracts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa using wrongful means.
He further claimed that Pakistan Muslim League – Quaid (PML-Q) leaders Chaudhry brothers are also in the list of leaders who got their loans written off.
Pervaiz Rasheed said that the government is alerting the public about PTI’s alleged crimes.
