Summary Court should accept PTI resignations and local body's elections should be conducted on vacant seats.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday has accepted the request of Arslan Iftekhar on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) resignations and has also issued notice to Speaker National Assembly and Federation.
According to details, Justice Mazhar Iqbal has summoned a hearing on Arslan Iftekhar s request at LHC Rawalpindi bench.
Arslan Iftekhar stated that PTI leaders have already resigned from Parliament so their resignations should be accepted.
After hearing preliminary arguments, LHC has approved his petition and has ordered Speaker National Assembly and Federation to submit reply in a month.
