Badin (Web Desk) – Former Interior Minister Sindh Zulfiqar Mirza staged sit-in protest against bribery outside District Commissioner s Office in Badin on Tuesday.
Patwaris (village accountants) and rest of the staff fled away from the office prior to Mirza’s arrival. People gathered around former minister with heaps of complaints against the District Police officer (DPO), District Officer, Patwaris and DMAs.
A woman had accused a patwari of demanding Rs 100,000 bribe.
Zulfiqar Mirza called upon other people to contact him in case they too are suffering from similar consequences and vowed to take action against people involved in bribery.
