ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – The Supreme Court of Pakistan has dismissed the petitions seeking Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s disqualification on Tuesday, Dunya News reported.
A three-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Nasirul Mulk heard the pleas against 14th constitutional amendment and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s disqualification.
The petitions were filed by Babar Awan, Manzoor Qadir, lawyers movement and Maulvi Iqbal Haider in 1997.
Chief Justice Nasirul Mulk disposed of the petitions, terming it ineffective.
