Summary The ECP would chalk out the local body delimitations in Sindh, orders Supreme Court
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday has asked the Sindh government to submit details of local body elections as the Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan ordered the ECP to chalk out delimitations for the elections.
The ECP has dispatched a letter to the Sindh government regarding the local body elections asking it to provide details of the local body delimitations.
According to the order of the Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan, the local body delimitations in Sindh would be done by the ECP.
The ECP also asked the Sindh government about the details of wards, Union Councils and maps of the municipal boundaries.
