JHELUM (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Monday lodged case in Sadar Police Station Jhelum against former Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Nadeem Khadim of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) for opening fire at PTI’s rally in Jhelum yesterday.
The case against former MPA Nadeem Khadim and his cousin Chaudhry Rashid has been filed under section 302 on the request of one of the injured workers Adeel son of Muneer. Three suspects namely Talat, Nasir and Kafeel arrested are still in police custody whereas the named culprits have not been caught yet.
On the other hand, six of injured workers have been discharged from the hospital.
Earlier, nine people were injured on Sunday when gunmen opened fire at PTI supporters en route to attend the rally in Jehlum.
