Summary He said the rally in Larkana will be 'historic'
MULTAN (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) General Secretary Jehangir Tareen on Monday said that the government cannot stop PTI’s planned sit-in protest on November 30 just like it couldn’t stop on August 14, Dunya News reported.
Addressing the media after hearing of election irregularities case in Multan Election Tribunal, Tareen said that the government couldn’t even do anything to stop the sit-in. He said the rally in Larkana will be ‘historic’.
He said the defense attorney in NA 154 election irregularities case appeared but did not complete the arguments and sought continuation of the hearing until November 24.
Tareen said he had come after leaving many important tasks. He said the tribunal was supposed to issue a verdict in 120 days but over sixteen months, he said, have lapsed without any verdict.
