KARACHI (Dunya News) – The opposition led by Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in Sindh Assembly started shouting ‘go Shehla go’ slogan against the Deputy Speaker Shehla Raza as soon as she presided over the assembly’s session on Friday, Dunya News reported.

According to the details, MQM’s lawmaker Muhammad Hussain protested against Shehla Raza’s yesterday’s remark about ‘turning brain into yogurt’ but the Speaker of the Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani managed to keep the House in order. However, the opposition started ‘go Shehla go’ slogan as soon as Raza took over the presiding of the House.

Taking advantage of the Speaker’s sear, Shehla Raza responded by saying ‘turning brains into yogurt’ is a common proverb in Karachi and that the yogurt is even available in markets.

“Whatever you’re saying is not being put on record”, Raza told protesters. “I’ll remain seated no matter how loud you get.”

Deputy Speaker also offered water and Lassi to calm the MQM members.

Seeing the strife in the House, Durrani returned to the seat and the proceedings turned to normal again.
